Model 2210-DCD (Disc-Chisel-Disc)
Design and Function
The 2210-DCD allows maximum residue flow after being initially sized by the front gangs with a staggered shank arrangement. It is equipped with heavy duty auto reset shanks, heavy duty scrapers, a self aligning trunion bearing, along with its disc blades on a 10 1/2" spacing.
The front and rear disc gangs can be adjusted to leave the amount of residue desired. Front gangs can be adjusted either at 18 or 14 degrees. The rear gangs can be set at 16 or 12 degrees. This allows the operator to fine tune the unit. The front and rear gangs are connected together and the height is adjusted hydraulically with one cylinder.
The rockshaft and the front and rear disc gangs pivot on UHMW polymer, eliminating metal to metal contact, and the need for greasing.
